Larry, Sharra and Brooke ,Destiny hide trip from Bethany

INT. PANAMA CITY AIRPORT – DAY

Bright sunlight spills through the massive glass windows. Travelers rush in every direction. The sound of rolling suitcases, distant announcements, and excitement fills the air.

LARRY, DESTINY, SHARRA, and BROOKE step out from the arrival gate.

They pause.

A silent moment.

A shared secret.

DESTINY
(whispering, excited)
We really did it… we actually came without telling her.

BROOKE
(smiling nervously)
Bethany is going to lose her mind when she finds out.

SHARRA
(playful, flipping her hair)
That’s if she finds out.

Larry looks around, cautious. His jaw tightens slightly.

LARRY
(low voice)
Keep your voices down. This trip… stays between us.

A beat.

The girls exchange looks—half thrill, half fear.

DESTINY
You think she’s already suspicious?

LARRY
(shakes head)
No. I made sure she wouldn’t be.

He pulls out his phone, quickly checks it.

No missed calls.

No messages.

Relief flickers across his face.

BROOKE
(teasing)
Wow… Larry keeping secrets. Never thought I’d see the day.

LARRY
(stern, but calm)
This isn’t a joke, Brooke.

Silence.

The tension settles in.

SHARRA
(softly)
Then what is it?

Larry exhales slowly, looking past them—lost in thought.

LARRY
It’s peace.

A long pause.

The girls absorb his words.

DESTINY
(gently)
Or… escape?

Larry doesn’t respond.

Instead, he gestures toward the exit.

LARRY
Come on. Let’s move.

EXT. PANAMA CITY AIRPORT – CONTINUOUS

The tropical air hits them instantly—warm, humid, alive.

Palm trees sway in the distance.

A taxi line waits.

Brooke stretches her arms wide, breathing it all in.

BROOKE
(grinning)
This feels unreal.

SHARRA
(excited)
No drama. No stress. Just us.

Destiny glances at Larry.

He doesn’t look as relaxed.

DESTINY
(carefully)
You sure leaving like this… was the right way?

Larry stops walking.

Turns to face them.

LARRY
(firm)
If I told her, we wouldn’t be here.

No one argues.

Because they know it’s true.

INT. TAXI – DAY

The group squeezes into the backseat. The city begins to move outside the windows—bright colors, ocean glimpses, life everywhere.

The DRIVER chats casually in the front.

But inside the backseat—

Silence.

Then—

BROOKE
(whispering)
What if she calls?

SHARRA
We don’t answer.

DESTINY
And later?

SHARRA
We say… we needed space.

Destiny shakes her head slightly.

DESTINY
She’s not going to accept that.

Larry stares out the window.

His reflection looks back at him—conflicted.

LARRY
She doesn’t have to.

The taxi turns a corner.

Ocean appears in full view.

Beautiful. Calm.

A sharp contrast to what they left behind.

INT. BETHANY’S HOUSE – SAME TIME

Quiet.

Too quiet.

BETHANY stands in the living room, holding her phone.

Her expression—uneasy.

She scrolls through messages.

No replies.

She dials Larry.

The phone rings.

Cuts to voicemail.

Her eyes narrow.

BETHANY
(muttering)
Where are you, Larry…

She looks around the empty house.

Something feels off.

Very off.

INT. TAXI – DAY

Brooke’s phone buzzes.

She freezes.

Everyone notices.

BROOKE
(whispering)
It’s her.

Instant tension.

SHARRA
Don’t pick it up.

DESTINY
(uneasy)
Maybe we should—

LARRY
(interrupting, firm)
No.

Brooke hesitates.

The phone keeps ringing.

Then—

She declines the call.

Silence.

Heavy silence.

BROOKE
(softly)
That felt wrong.

SHARRA
(smiling slightly)
That felt necessary.

EXT. BEACHFRONT HOTEL – DAY

The taxi pulls up to a stunning hotel overlooking the ocean.

Waves crash gently in the background.

The group steps out.

For a moment—

Everything feels perfect.

DESTINY
(quiet awe)
This place is beautiful.

BROOKE
Maybe this trip will actually fix things.

Larry looks at the ocean.

Uncertain.

LARRY
Or break them completely.

They all fall silent.

INT. BETHANY’S HOUSE – DAY

Bethany paces back and forth.

Her phone in her hand.

She stops.

Looks at something on the screen.

Her eyes widen.

A social media post.

A tagged location.

Panama City.

Her breathing sharpens.

BETHANY
(whisper, hurt turning to anger)
You lied to me…

Her grip tightens on the phone.

BETHANY
(firm, rising anger)
All of you.

EXT. BEACHFRONT HOTEL – SUNSET

Golden light covers everything.

The group stands on the balcony.

Ocean stretching endlessly.

For a brief second—

They smile.

They laugh.

They feel free.

Then—

Larry’s phone buzzes.

He looks down.

His expression changes instantly.

Dark.

Heavy.

DESTINY
What is it?

Larry slowly turns the screen toward them.

BETHANY CALLING.

The name alone shifts the entire atmosphere.

SHARRA
(whisper)
It’s starting.

Larry stares at the phone.

The ringing echoes louder than it should.

A decision hangs in the air.

Answer—

Or run.

The screen keeps flashing.

BETHANY CALLING.

Larry exhales.

His thumb hovers over the screen.

CUT TO BLACK.
