Sharra And Larry Furious Over Brooke’s Decisions

 INT. HOSTEL ROOM – EVENING

Dim yellow light flickers from a ceiling bulb. The room is quiet, but the tension is loud. A suitcase lies open on the bed.

The door swings open.

LARRY and SHARRA walk in, their faces tight with anger.

BROOKE stands near the window, arms crossed, trying to appear calm—but her eyes betray her.

A heavy silence.

LARRY
(voice cold)
So… you wanna explain this?

Brooke looks away.

SHARRA
(stepping forward, furious)
Or should we start with the tattoo?

Brooke exhales slowly, bracing herself.

BROOKE
It’s just a tattoo. It’s not a big deal.

Larry lets out a sarcastic laugh.

LARRY
Not a big deal?
You went behind our backs and did this—without telling anyone?

He steps closer, his presence intimidating.

LARRY (CONT'D)
And that’s not even the worst part.

Sharra’s eyes burn with disappointment.

SHARRA
(angry, hurt)
You disrespected Dutchess. Someone who’s been nothing but good to you.

Brooke’s expression hardens.

BROOKE
(defensive)
She was overreacting. It wasn’t her business.

Sharra scoffs, shaking her head.

SHARRA
Not her business?
We’re family here. Everything you do affects all of us.

Brooke looks down for a moment, then back up—stubborn.

BROOKE
I just wanted something for myself. For once.

Larry’s jaw tightens.

LARRY
Then act like someone who deserves independence.
Not someone who lies and disrespects people.

A beat of silence.

The tension thickens.

SHARRA
(soft but sharp)
What exactly did you say to Dutchess?

Brooke hesitates.

That silence says everything.

LARRY
(raising voice)
Say it.

Brooke swallows.

BROOKE
I told her… to stay out of it.
And not to tell you guys.

Sharra takes a step back, shocked.

SHARRA
(disbelief)
Wow.

She runs a hand through her hair, pacing.

SHARRA (CONT'D)
You really thought you could hide this?

BROOKE
(frustrated)
I knew you’d react like this!

LARRY
Because you gave us a reason to!

Larry slams his hand against the table. The sound echoes.

Brooke flinches.

LARRY (CONT'D)
This isn’t just about a tattoo.
It’s about trust.

A long pause.

Brooke’s eyes soften—but only slightly.

BROOKE
(quietly)
I didn’t think it would turn into all this.

Sharra stops pacing. Looks at her—disappointed, not just angry.

SHARRA
That’s the problem.
You didn’t think.

Silence again.

The air feels heavy.

LARRY
(low, controlled)
You’ve been acting different lately.

BROOKE
(defensive again)
People change.

LARRY
Yeah. But not like this.

He steps closer, lowering his voice.

LARRY (CONT'D)
You’re pushing everyone away.

Brooke’s guard begins to crack.

Her eyes flicker with emotion.

BROOKE
(soft, almost breaking)
Maybe I just needed space.

SHARRA
Then say that.
Don’t hurt people in the process.

Brooke looks at Sharra—guilt creeping in.

BROOKE
I didn’t mean to hurt her.

SHARRA
But you did.

A long pause.

The weight of those words sinks in.

LARRY
(sighs)
You need to fix this.

BROOKE
(quiet)
How?

Sharra steps closer now—not angry, but firm.

SHARRA
You apologize.
To Dutchess. Properly.

LARRY
And you start being honest—with us.

Brooke nods slowly, unsure.

BROOKE
Okay…

Larry studies her face, trying to see if she means it.

LARRY
We’re serious, Brooke.
No more secrets.

Brooke looks between them—then nods again, more firmly this time.

BROOKE
No more secrets.

Silence.

But this time… it’s different.

Less explosive. More uncertain.

Sharra exhales, some of her anger fading—but not all.

SHARRA
We’re not your enemies.

Brooke’s eyes lower.

BROOKE
I know.

Larry picks up the suitcase, placing it aside.

LARRY
Then start acting like it.

A final beat.

Brooke walks toward the mirror.

She lifts her sleeve slightly—revealing the tattoo.

She stares at it.

Not with pride.

But with doubt.

Behind her, Larry and Sharra exchange a glance.

The storm isn’t over.

It’s just… paused.

FADE OUT.
