Sharra Secretly Takes Brooke to Hospital Without Larry

 INT. CAR – NIGHT

Dim streetlights flicker across the windshield. Rain taps softly.

BROOKE sits in the passenger seat, eyes red, hands trembling in her lap.

SHARRA grips the steering wheel tightly, jaw clenched, silent—but furious beneath the surface.

A heavy tension fills the car.

BROOKE
(soft, broken)
Sharra… I didn’t mean for it to go this far.

Sharra doesn’t respond. Her eyes stay locked on the road.

SHARRA
(cold, controlled)
We’ll talk later. Right now, you need help.

Brooke swallows hard, looking away, ashamed.

The car speeds up.

Cut to—

INT. HOSPITAL EMERGENCY ENTRANCE – NIGHT

Automatic doors slide open.

Bright white lights flood the scene.

Sharra steps out quickly, helping Brooke out of the car. Brooke looks weak, emotionally drained.

Nurses rush toward them.

NURSE
What happened?

SHARRA
(firm, urgent)
She needs to be checked. Now.

They guide Brooke inside on a wheelchair.

Sharra follows closely, her eyes never leaving Brooke.

INT. HOSPITAL WAITING AREA – NIGHT

Sterile. Quiet. Cold.

Sharra paces back and forth, arms crossed, breathing heavy.

Her mind is racing.

FLASH CUTS —
Brooke laughing earlier.
Brooke avoiding eye contact.
A memory of Isaiah.

Back to present.

A DOCTOR approaches.

DOCTOR
She’s stable. We’re running some tests. You came at the right time.

Sharra exhales slightly, relief mixed with tension.

SHARRA
Thank you.

The doctor nods and walks away.

Sharra sits down—but only for a moment. She stands again, restless.

Her phone BUZZES.

Caller ID: LARRY.

She stares at it.

Declines the call.

INT. HOSPITAL ROOM – LATER

Brooke lies on the bed, staring at the ceiling.

An IV is attached.

Sharra enters slowly.

Silence fills the room.

Brooke turns her head, eyes filled with fear.

BROOKE
(whispering)
Are you mad at me?

Sharra doesn’t answer immediately.

She walks closer. Stops beside the bed.

SHARRA
(low, intense)
Tell me the truth, Brooke.

Brooke’s eyes well up.

BROOKE
I… I didn’t plan it.

Sharra’s expression hardens.

SHARRA
Isaiah.

A long pause.

Brooke closes her eyes.

That’s the answer.

Sharra steps back slightly—like she’s been hit.

SHARRA
(disbelief)
You went behind our backs?

BROOKE
(tears falling)
It just happened… I was confused… I didn’t think—

SHARRA
(raising voice)
You didn’t think?!

Brooke flinches.

Silence crashes down again.

Sharra turns away, trying to control her anger.

INT. HOSPITAL CORRIDOR – CONTINUOUS

Sharra walks out quickly, breathing heavily.

She leans against the wall.

Her phone BUZZES again.

LARRY calling.

This time, she answers.

SHARRA
(short, tense)
What?

LARRY (V.O.)
Where are you? I’ve been calling you.

Sharra hesitates.

SHARRA
I’m at the hospital.

Pause.

LARRY (V.O.)
Hospital? What happened?!

Sharra closes her eyes.

SHARRA
It’s Brooke.

Another pause—longer this time.

LARRY (V.O.)
What did she do now?

Sharra’s grip tightens on the phone.

SHARRA
You need to come here.

INT. HOSPITAL ROOM – SAME TIME

Brooke lies alone.

Tears silently roll down her face.

She clutches the bedsheet tightly.

The weight of her choices sinks in.

INT. HOSPITAL CORRIDOR – LATER

Larry rushes in, worried, slightly out of breath.

He spots Sharra.

LARRY
What’s going on?

Sharra looks at him—eyes filled with anger and disappointment.

SHARRA
You won’t believe it.

Larry’s expression darkens.

LARRY
Try me.

Sharra steps closer.

Lower voice.

Sharp.

SHARRA
Brooke… and Isaiah.

Larry freezes.

The words hit hard.

LARRY
No.

Sharra nods slowly.

SHARRA
Yes.

A long silence.

Larry runs his hand over his face, frustrated.

LARRY
(angry)
After everything?

Sharra looks toward Brooke’s room.

SHARRA
She’s not just in trouble, Larry… she’s broken.

Larry clenches his fists.

LARRY
I need to hear it from her.

Sharra steps aside.

INT. HOSPITAL ROOM – MOMENTS LATER

Larry enters.

Brooke sees him.

Her face drops.

Fear. Guilt. Regret.

BROOKE
Larry…

Larry stands still.

Disappointed. Hurt.

LARRY
Tell me it’s not true.

Brooke can’t.

She looks down.

That silence says everything.

Larry exhales sharply.

Turns away.

INT. HOSPITAL CORRIDOR – CONTINUOUS

Larry steps out.

Sharra looks at him.

No words needed.

Everything has changed.

FADE OUT.
